Established in 2007, SECOND SATURDAYS have been the signature jazz-happenings at The Space Upstairs. It's light bulbs and couches, coffee tables and deconstructed pianos, piles of chalk and books. It's vivid splashes of light and projection and poetry scribbled on the walls. And improvisational postmodern-jazz dance performances by The Pillow Project with live jazzed music throughout the night!

 

Hosted by Jaka Porter with different musical guests each month, it's modern speakeasy-magic and spontaneous art in our 4,000 sq/ft warehouse-gallery loft-space... And it’s one of Pittsburgh's best kept secrets!
